It should be noted that according to 2012 it became known that in St. Petersburg there was a reduction in the number of poor quality roads. Moreover, this indicator decreased by approximately 8%. That is, according to previous years in St. Petersburg, there were 26% of bad roads. And at the current time, their number was reduced by 8% and it became 18%. This was reported by Boris Murashov, chairman of the committee related to the development of transport infrastructure.
It’s no secret that with the development of transport and increasing its quantity, the environmental situation in the world only worsens. Therefore, the concern for the environment begins to have increasing significance. An important point at the stage of designing industrial buildings is environmental research. They are needed so that the construction of a plant or factory does not violate the environmental balance in the nearby territories. Conducting environmental surveys includes: studying the place of development, analysis of the geological and hydrological condition of the area, taking soil and water samples, development and coordination of environmental documentation.
Boris Murashov also noted that at the moment St. Petersburg is holding a leading position regarding the use of innovations in the reconstruction of roads in the country. Such positions were won by the city due to the fact that there was a decrease in the cost of repair work. And this, in turn, was achieved due to the process of optimizing solutions of a technical nature.
In addition, the city was actively used. This happened due to the fact that there were problems associated with the supply of bitumen. That is why the usual materials were replaced by more modern. Also, builders were added to the mixture for the construction and reconstruction of roads rubber crumbs (t.e. Revised tires).
